Service Desk Manager (SDM1121)


We select a Service Desk Manager for an important multinational based in Rome.

What will your role be:

You will be responsible for taking care of all the activities provided by the Help Desk & Service Desk structure within the Information Systems, you will have to promote the continuous improvement of processes and you will have to manage the resources used in the Help Desk service. You will also need to attend meetings with functions working in companies across Europe.

Specifically, you will need to:

  • guarantee a constant internal service to the customer

  • monitor and evaluate the quality of the activities carried out by the Service Desk according to KPI

  • carry out reporting activities and produce adequate documentation

  • interact with internal and foreign functions collaborate in the improvement of internal processes and best practices


What are the requirements you must have:

You will need to know:

  • Ticketing systems

  • Office automation systems Microsoft Office 365

  • Microsoft SCCM and Intune for device management

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP administration

  • Consolidated experience in structured Service Desks

We are looking for a motivated System & Network Engineer able to manage the assigned projects. The candidate must collaborate with the IT team in the development of high-profile technological projects and qualified on-site and remote support to customers.


  • Windows and Linux server operating systems

  • VMware virtualization (vSphere, Horizon)

  • Storage Area Network (NetApp, IBM, etc ..)

  • Office automation and cloud messaging systems (Office 365, Google Suite, etc.)

  • CISCO SYSTEMS Technologies: switching, routing and firewalling, call manager

  • Backup and disaster recovery systems (BackupExec, VEEAM, etc ..)
